Bitspower UV CCFL failed in a month?!

Thread Starter
Got these a month ago been working perfectly fine since, but till today they suddenly will not light up *flicking the switch rapidly to see if that works... >.>*. Checked connections, tested if any short circuit, tested if each component can carry current through, but came up that the tubes may have blown or my check open circuit on my multimeter doesn't work through cathodes.

How? they are less susceptible to power surges and arcing, so it can't be that.

Even so, not caring about sending these back as I now highly doubt their quality. Custom building UV LED kit with the AX3022 Based Switching Regulator Adapter Step-Down. Got 10 of these powering power outage LEDs along the skirting boards.

Out of the system:

I don't like Cold Cathodes for this very reason, I bought some for my car years ago and they blew up within minutes. Could see a small crack at one end of the tubes, ended up getting my money back for the things. Look closely for any signs of cracks and what not. It most likely is blown if no one has touched them!

Usually the inverter is a cheap piece of crap and has a dead capacitor. If the tubes check out ok visually, I'd pry the inverter case open and look for caps with bulging tops. Of course, see if you can get exchange/refund first.
