How long will memtest86 take for one 8GB stick if DDR3 1866?

I say my ram is bad
Gskill says I need to set all of the values in the BIOS
Memtest is showing errors.

It has been running for 5 hours now. How much long will it take?

You should get a total of 0 errors.
Even a couple errors would indicate failing RAM if all other settings are manually set as they have specified (voltage, frequency, timings).

Can you post your system specs. It will make troubleshooting much easier.

If memtest shows any errors at any time it normally means your RAM is not configured properly or is bad.

Are you testing one at a time? If one performs differently than the other then you know it is a bad stick causing problems.

Cheers
