Does the BIOS recognize the HDD in question in any port when no HDD's, SSD's and CD Drives are plugged in!

If I understood what you meant, yes the HDD in question is recognized in any port except the Sata 6GB/s ports. I'm starting to think those two 6gb/s ports might be faulty, as the SSD or older HDD aren't recognized either whilst they are in any other port. Weird though for them to be faulty, as they've never been used till now. Hopefully I won't have to upgrade my mobo, already spent quite some money on the graphic card and SSD.

Did you unplug ALL sata devices followed by testing the HDD in the 6GB/s port? It sounds like incorrect BIOS settings.

Edit: In addition, try this; plug the SSD, HDD's and DVD Drive into the GREY and WHITE ports only. Leave the black ports empty. Then go into the BIOS and confirm all SATA ports are ON and set to the correct handling mode such as IDE, AHCI, RAID ect. This may work better if you upgrade to the latest BIOS version.

Latest version is UL1.

Ah no, I didn't tested that. However, today I tried swapping some wires connected to the ports. Doing this means I have to detach my graphic card. However, after swapping and putting back the card, the PC didn't wanted to start up. I then tried to put the other 6950 (I have two) and the PC started up. Which means I probably damaged the first card... Now I'm too scared to take the second one out and there's no other way to reach the ports.

So what I'm coming down to is that I'll bring it to my local computer store and have them figure it out. Unfortunately they're on vacation till end of July, so it will take a while before it gets fixed (if it can get fixed).

So unless there are other possible solutions without going into the case, I guess this is the end of this topic. Thanks for the help though BradleyW, appreciated it.

Can you see any physical damage to the GPU?

Nope, can't see anything afaik. Probably something inside that got damaged. But the other 6950 works and I won't need CF for a while, so I might let the shop check the card too,

Maybe you did not seat the card correctly?

Well I hope that's the case, else I'm a lot worse off. But I'll ask the local pc store to check on it (they do it for free if it's just checking) when they're back from vacation, end of this month.
