I see that you have chosen the 4770. Don't you wish to overclock??

P.S. Get 8GB of RAM (2x4GB). Believe me it will prove beneficial.

I am getting the 3.4 hoping its a little cooler than 3.5
yes I wont overclock
I found hyperx black 4x2 for cheap what other ram would be inexpensive but good
I am using my swiftech polaris 120 which has been fine on my amd 980 ?
I was told if I get win 7 64bit I can run all my 32 bit apps ie photoshop cs5 other image editng apps and have more ram
ASUS Z87M-PLUS finding it difficult to get all the reviews I want
suggestions ?

1- The HyperX brand is a very good brand by Kingston. It should suffice, but just link me the item just to be safe.
2- The Swiftech Polaris 120 is not compatible with the 4770. It is compatible with the 3770/2700 though.
3- It is wise to get a 64bit operating system. Have a look at Windows 8, because if you can survive it, it has some performance improvements including quite significant RAM usage decrease.
4- ASUS is a very solid brand. In fact, the best subjectively, but rarely debated. What is your budget for the Motherboard? You may want to check out theZ87-PLUS. It has well enough reviews. Or you could try the Extreme6 as it's quite popular, maybe just because Tom approved it but nonetheless, popular. A certain budget would be helpful to give you good input on a Motherboard.

The one I linked you right? Anyways, the RAM is good. Sorry for not knowing that the Polaris was compatible with Haswell.

Here's the Windows 8 64bit Driver for your Graphics Card. So it is compatible.
