Asus Z87 Pro cant control cpu fan

Hello!

I have a strange problem in my rig, I have a z87 pro, and a custom loop watercooling for my cpu, and connected two fans via spliter on my radiator(cpu fan on mb). I could control the fans with ease( 2 days) but today i left to the gym and put aida stress test to run to test my temperatures. I got home after a couple of hours everything worked as i left, except this two fans running full on. Other 4 fans works like before. I connect a spare 3 pin fan and same thing, except my pwm fan i connected works!
What heapned, how can i fix this, the fans are ok tested on other headers. I could buy pwm fans but why if this ones are good frown.gif

Thanks 4 your help.

Perhaps related...I have a Z87 Pro and am inconsistently getting CPU FAN errors on boot.
I updated to the latest bios on ASUS website - but the errors continue.
The fan is not bad. It is plugged into the correct header. The way I get around is by going into bios setup (I have no other choice), make no changes, exit bios and my operating system starts normally.

You can solve your problem, go to bios, then on the tab that shows you fan speeds in advanced. Click on the cpu fan and choose ignore. The cpu fan will not bother you again smile.gif
