Can Access Router Settings from 1 PC, but not from another PC?

As the topic says...

I have a small LAN with 3 computers, and a few Wireless devices.

On one computer, an older Windows XP system, I can access the Router Settings with the usual 192.168.1.1...

However, on the other two computers, Windows 7 systems, I can not access the Router Settings.

On those, when trying to access 192.168.1.1, all I get is a "page can not be displayed" error on my web browser...

I thought perhaps the Windows 7 Firewall might be the issue, and disabled that, and still nothing...

I released/renewed the IP settings on both computers, and still can not access the Router Settings...

Any suggestions?

All PC's connect to the Router and access the internet just fine...

I just can't get into the router settings from the Win7 systems...

try switching the ethernet wires to the port that the computer works on.

some routers will not allow wireless connected devices access the configuration page, and some will only allow computers connected to say port 1 of the router access it.

Neither computer connected are wireless.... they're all connected via cat5.

I can access the router settings on any port, from the Win XP system.

I have tried all the ports, from the Win 7 systems, and still can not access the Router settings from those.

I have also unplugged the WinXP system from the router completely, and just left the Win7 systems connected...

They can still access the internet, but they can not access the Router Settings....

weird, i havent ran into this problem before. have you tried another web browser? id try to boot into a linux live disk and try to access it see if it is truely windows 7 doing this. i havent had this problem myself with any router/os combo ive had.

i cant think of much that could cause this. as a last resort you could do a hard reset of the router itself to factory settings.

edit:: i lied i had a net gear router that would time out if a computer would try to access it after a heavy load, but that was the router was defective and had to be replaced.

I don't have any Linux disks, but I can get some... so I'll try that at some point.

For now though, I suppose only being able to access it from the one PC will have to suffice.... its just been an annoying problem thats bothered me for some time, and I started thinking about it some more, recently, because I've been contemplating redoing the old XP system with a fresh install of Win7 since its already all 64bit hardware and runs very slow as XP...
