AMD could still be option but i would still advise going intel if you can afford it. I noticed you mentioned about future games utilising more cores. Although this is probably true, intel still has more performance per core aswell as higher IPC.

The 760 performs as good as a 7950. The 7950 is AMD's mid range card, between the 7870 and the 7970. An overclocked 760 goes back and forth with an overclocked 7950. The 7950 is a superb card, meaning the 760 is just as good.

The 760 performs slightly under a 670. If you can get a good deal on a 670 or you don't mind buying used then yeah a 670 will be good. However, a good 670 is still going to cost you around $320 for only a little performance increase over a 760 for around $260. If you can grab a 670 for $270-280 used and have no problem with that then that's a great option however as it stands the 760 is pretty decent. So if you don't want to get a 760 then get a 7950, but basically they are the same thing performance wise. Both which will allow you to nearly max out every game @ 1080p.

Guys, no fighting in here please. Don't accuse others of "trolling" or being a troll
Keep it clean.
thanks
