Almost all PSU´s sold are made by a OEM in Asia so brands are meaningless

Take Corsair they have 4 OEM´s they buy from OCZ has 6 and other brands even more

When it comes to PSU´s looking at the brands and even the OEM´s is a waste of time

The only way to know whats good and bad is to look up every model and read reviews on them

Which is what i have done

And no i dont know every model ever made but i do know a lot of good and bad ones

Take the Rosewill Capstone thats a Super Flower Golden Green rebranded

The Golden Green is the unit that made Super Flower into a high end OEM it is today

In fact they can more or less rival all the other OEM´s at this point

So yes the Rosewill Capstone is a good bang for buck option

Ok new list, mostly the same but with some minor changes. Thank you for all the recommendations, I am trying not to order a ton of stuff from a ton of different places, so I think I am going to stick with Newegg for the lot. If I really have to I would go to microcenter for instore pickup if the prices are very different, but the egg has been a good experience over the years, and well, its not my money lol.

I liked the idea of the Haswell i5 for PC-1, I would have liked to just get 2x i5 Haswells considering the onboard graphics is a lot better than the i3's but coming from an old school AMD opteron, I think the difference will still be a night and day one. For the motherboards I am drifting towards the suggested ASUS B85-G 1150 for the i5 Haswell and an ASRock B75 PRO3-M 1155 for the i3 Ivy. Changed the RAM to 1600 G.Skill 1.5v, still going to stick with 2x2Gb sticks to keep price down but there are 4 mem slots on both motherboards so the option is there for more.

Changed the PSU's from Corsair to a Rosewill Capstone 450W, it has 37A on the 12v rail so that should be more than enough for the Sapphire 7850, its a step up in the graphics budget, but it looks like it can hold its own, nice dual fan cooling too.

All in including shipping comes to $1606, I will run this by my friend in the next couple of days, unless anyone can spot any obvious conflicts on the list. Once again thanks for all the replies, each one helped and the rep has been dished out accordingly.
