it won't work on all rigs for sure... I know that all 8350 chips aren't the same and given the difference in motherboards...its possible that the method will vary some... One thing that you can try is to only change the voltage.... you could try to use the offset mode still set to - offset and a value of .05 instead of .1 that might work.. won't save as much power, but maybe yours needs the power... another thing is to disable turbo core and see if it works... in my opinion the turbo core isn't all its cracked up to be anyway so if you loose that little bit of boost you'll gain a lot of power savings in return.. .just a thought or two.
And if you are OC'ing... be sure to restore defaults before trying this method... that' could be it as well...
