Guys, I need help. I recently bought a koolance gtx690 waterblock used from a fellow OCNer. However, it doesn't comes with thermal pads. I know that we need to apply certain thickness at certain place. I really dont know where or which thermal pads should I buy. Can someone help me out by showing diagram or something. Thank you. I would very much appreciate your help

What I would suggest is to go to the loo lance website and download the installation manual.

I did. However they just provide the installation manual. Here is the quote "The thermal pad sheet should be cut into pieces required for your video block contact areas. Please use the diagram included with your water block to determine the approximate sizes needed. Koolance heat transfer pads have different thicknesses (gray = 0.5mm, pink/white = 1.0mm)."

Since mine is used unit, I have no diagram for the thermal pads. I hope someone in here does

Really? Where should I install the thermal pads. Any idea on the layout in where are the specific locations for the thermal pads? Sorry but I have never had gpu waterblock lol

I've read that using the grey pads are recommended anyways, since they are thinner. Just put them on, apply the block to the card and apply some pressure. Take the block off and make sure there is some indication that the pads made contact with the respective areas.
