Help / Suggestions requested for adding 2x 680s to loop (Maximus V Gene)

My CPU cooling gear came in early this week and I'm almost ready to put everything together. At present:

  • XSPC Raystorm CPU block
  • Alphacool ST30 240 radiator
  • Swiftech MCP35X pump
  • EK DDC X-Res 100 CSQ reservoir
  • Monsoon Free Center matte black compression fittings 3/8" x 1/2"
  • Tygon R3400 3/8" ID (1/2" OD)
  • Heatkiller GTX 680 water blocks (2)

What I need:

  • New SLI bridge (shorter one since the cards are on top of each other)
  • SLI connectors and fittings

I'm having trouble figuring out which of the 'need' parts to get. What is the best way to connect the two cards to each other and the rest of the loop (keeping in mind it is an mATX board and the cards are right on top of each other)? Which SLI connectors are recommended and which should I avoid?

ADJUSTABLE SLI fittings are simple and work well. As for the right size that will take a little research on your end.

Awesome idea. Didn't know those existed.

Looks like the only way to get a short SLI bridge is modding one like this one. No biggie.

You shouldnt have to modify SLI bridges, there should be a hard PCB bridge that will work for you. You could also use a FLEXIBLE SLI bridge (top one).

I haven't found any short hard PCB 2-way SLI bridges. If they're sold, it's not be Asus, EVGA, or Gigabyte...
