Keep in mind my results are with zero AA, and valley isn't as demanding as upcoming games could turn out to be.

Then again, I fully intend to have a second titan before I go 4k.

By downsampling.

That monitor is NOT 4K - it is "UHD". 4K is 4096x2160 or about 8.85MP.

Here is a test video I did in actual 4K resolution (4096x2160 --> Watch in "Original" and right-click and select "Stats for nerds" to see the actual resolution if you don't have a 4K+ monitor setup):

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7mlG9x5_m0

By the way, that video was me playing at a MUCH higher resolution than 4K-- 5160x2560 which is 13.2MP and recording at 4K simultaneously!

Wrong.

"UHD" applies to both 4k, and 8k resolutions. The correct term is "4K UHD" and 8K UHD". It is simplified because it is implied that a "4K" monitor is indeed going to be "4K UHD", not "full" 4K.

Annoys me to no end when people make that mistake.
