Mythlogic legit? - Page 2

When you choose NO OS, you get the drivers for the OS you plan to install on our Utility DVD and then a CD of all of your benchmarks and calibrations. It is usually a much smoother transition to send us the parts, that way we can run them through QA and you are ready to roll when you get it. PM me if you have any questions about your order, or want to give me your username on our site.

I personally don't mind installing those things myself, I actually enjoy it smile.gif.
I didn't however know I could send in my own stuff... It makes sense though.

I'm about to purchase the 17" Sager 8295 or MYTHLOGIC Nyx 1713 Chassis (Clevo P177SM)
... use to be the 8290 see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kt4JbHFfNdc for $1713.00 from Mythlogic (desktop replacement)

Plenty of gaming power with stock options already on board. No need to overclock. Might add an ssd for faster boots and running programs.
The Youtube video for the 8290 is running the GTX 780 4g as the GPU. GTX770 3g is plenty to play the games at 1080. I don't need to see the pores and sweat on character faces crystal clear.
Really nice lighted key display...the letters light up rather than the entire edge flooding out with led light.

After extensive tinkering configs on Xotic, Maingear, with MSI, Sagers, etc and some other sites I have decided to go with Mythlogic.
Good thing about Mythlogic is they are taking out all the the customization confusion (Diamond Thermal compound..overclock cpu, overclock gpu, charge me xtra for windows 7, charge me xtra for white glove packing, no xtra charge for rush production, xtra this, xtra that and on and on and on.) ALL xtra $$$$$$$ and confusing.

***With Laptops- Always get the the extended warranty 2yrs min and 3yrs max***

Besides...Mythlogic seems to be a more quiet laid back steady as she goes atmosphere and not a fast furious sweatshop where the entire staff is jacked and cracked up on Monster and Red Bull drinks with team leaders cracking whips everywhere.

10-15 day arrival time from purchase date to your door.

yeah these guys are legit

I personally went with xoticpc since it cost significantly less. I got an OS, IC thermal cooling, and a samsung 256 gb 840 pro SSD for 1300 (50 dollars off summer sager sale), shipping was free.

The same configuration (I'll price it at getting the intel card as well) on xoticpc and mythlogic costs:

840 pro ssd 256 gb
intel 6250 card
windows 8 OS
standard shipping
standard build production time

xoticpc:: 1364, and the time it took to make the machine was 3 days, shipping took 4, and order processing took 2 for a total of 9 business days for this product to reach me, no rush build or rush shipping involved.

mythlogic: 1453, though that does include the lucidex software, which is-according to them-a 55 dollar value, and I haven't looked at shipping.

Hey Mythlogic, have you had a chance to test out the 14" Iris Pro Clevo yet?

I am vary about the fan noise and keyboard quality. That and that it games as well as an A10 for like $300 more frown.gif
