I was at staples lastnight and seen this monitor on sale for $240(Canada) and impulse bought it, I like it so far wondering if anyone else has it and if it was a good deal?

Depends on what you need it for.

If you are mainly a gamer, Canada Computers has a 120Hz monitor for only $250 at the moment ($50 off), sale lasting till July 14.

But it is only 24" (VG248QE) and it's not as good colors as the VE278H (as the 120Hz version, VG278H which I own, also has better colors). But it does have 144Hz ability, as well as Lightboost too, both of which is a significant benefit to fast gaming (FPS, racing, etc).

yea mostly gaming, and I already bought it, like it so far but first time with asus monitors
