Well that's a problem, see that's something that I would have never known! Thanks for the heads up, I saw the post about the ASUS ROG Impact, can I overclock on that board?

BTW, is there any specific reason why you don't want an SSD? I guess if you were wanting to go SLI with those 780s?

I will eventually go SSD but looking at my bank account, I don't think I can afford a big SSD like I want right now. Maybe for Christmas I'll ask for an SSD tongue.gif Any idea how much that ROG will cost?

Of course you can OC on that rog board, lol.

It will be around 240 -280.

Not sure, but probably about 200 (ouch)

You get what you pay for though, those things have all the bestest doodads and geegaws you can buy.

No way it will be just 200. Their p8z77-i deluxe is still 189 from a lauch price of 199, pretty sure that their upcoming p8z87-i deluxe will be more than 200, and this rog impact will be priced more than that.

i'm expecting the impact to be roughly $450ish in australia in US terms probably $300

none the less the only reason to get the impact is because of its looks and street cred. haswells are poor overclockers with any above ambient coolers unless delidded

just be happy with the asrock z87e-itx, its a decent board afterall

I did some research on that ROG and damn, that thing is impressive. I will definitely be holding out for that. Looks like I'm working a few extra hours each week from now until I can afford it wink.gif
