Title says it all, looking to replace current 5 year old Altec Lansing VS4121 which subwoofer has broken. Looking at either Altec Lansing or Logitech as a replacement, mainly because of their availability here. I would prefer something with a nice boomy bass. I hear the Logitech z623 is nice but it's at almost double my budget, I could get it but would it be worth it? Any suggestions are welcome but I don't get a lot of choices here in my country, mostly just Altec and Logitech. My main use for the speakers would be 50% movies, 40% gaming, 10% music. My main choices right now are:

1. Altec Lansing VS4621 (Octane 7)
2. Logitech z523
3. Logitech z623 (If the performance difference with the above is really THAT big to warrant the price difference)

Any other suggestions are welcome, I can try to get other brands here if I'm lucky. Thanks!
