The asrock has 12 phase vs the 8 phase of the Gigabyte though with haswell i dont know if that makes any difference.
The extreme4 with Z77 had a few issues with voltage dont know if its fixed on the Z87 version.
I guess the Gigabyte is the better performer cant go wrong with it

I would get the Gigabyte board, its actually over-specced in the VRM department compared to rival boards, it may have only 8 phases...but these are quality components used.

Yea, looks like the Gigabyte is better. I read some reviews of the Asrock and looks like it has the voltage regulation issuses still.
