http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127735 - MSI R7990-6GD5 Radeon HD 7990 6GB 384-bit - $999 fastest ATI card out there.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121651 - ASUS HD7850-DC2-2GD5-V2 Radeon HD 7850 2GB 256-bit - $199 is the one I'd recommend for your build.

step 1 check the recommended PSU thread

step 2 locate your PSU in the thread.

step 3. IF your PSU is in that thread, then any single video card you can possibly afford
biggrin.gif

IF your PSU is NOT in that thread, then take the $ you would have spent on the vid card and buy a PSU in that list

step 4. check the online-deals thread if you are still reading this

my psu is on 400-500 section

it is antec neo eco 400w c

but when I check the requirement for psu on those video card , it says it need at least 450-500w for it.

for example, 7750 need at least 450w in order to power up.

that power requirement is just a scare for those without a quality PSU. a 400W can power up a titan

none the less you have an AMD APU and all you want is 3d movies/tv shows you really dont need anything beyond what you have because the APU is more then capable of all that

if you are talking about 3d gaming then your CPU is a tad weak but if you insist on getting a GPU then i'd say a 7870

6570 maybe?I'm feeling 6570

i think the 6670 doesnt have a connector too, and it can be used in hybrid crossfire with his APU

7850 if you don't want to use any molex to pci-e adapters.

I'm actually running a 7870 on an old HP machine with a 14a/250w unit and had to undervolt/clock to keep it running.
Runs fine now at 900/1200 undervolted to 1.10v, just a question of how long it will last.

Your NEO could handle a 7870, I'm just not a fan of adapters.

what he said. for watching movies etc... the APU is already overkill... and yes a "quality" 400w PSU can EASILY handle a single titan. never mind the less powerful hungry cards like a 7750

if you want to play games, the 7870 would match up decently. you don't really want to spend $ on older tech like the 6570 or 6670. definitely get a current gen vid card if you insist on buying 1.

I just bought this one, I hope I can use this video card for htpc. what do u guys think? can It power up?

I have tried to use APU for watch 3d bluray. when I try to play 3d bluray, It crash in 10-20 minutes then it reboots.

I have tried to use 4gb or 8gb to see if it is not enough memory. but no use, it is still the same. I still got the same problem.

but when I use gt520, it plays fine.

sounds like a graphics driver issue. could fix that with a download, not spending money.

That card is excellent for an HTPC and light gaming. It consumes less than 45w under 100% load! (Source)

3D Movies require a little more grunt than regular HD content and having an external GPU provides smooth playback, but you still shouldn't be having crashes/restarts with the iGPU.

As mentioned earlier, some troubleshooting is required to insure your rig is 100% stable, with or without a GPU.

That's one reason why I recommended the 7850, it's not much more than the 7770, but you get a HUGE bump in performance which means it'll last quite a bit longer before you'd need to really replace it. The 7750 is on the lower end of the spectrum when it comes to gaming most of the current games would play in the low to mid settings with that card all depending on the game.

Of course it can. You'll need to dial down the IQ to get decent FPS depending on the resolution (I'm guessing 1080p).

Click on the link I provided in the earlier post & scroll through the review. Performance is even better now with the updated drivers.

I think some people are ok with 30FPS, some need more.
You'll need to reduce the resolution too. Or get this mini 670 if it fits in your case.
