The Swiftech H220 allows you to change pretty much everything. And would be the cheapest solution.

Yes... Get the Swiftech H220 and replace the tubing to clear tubing and put red coolant in it.

It isn't a sealed system to begin with, it is meant to be tweaked and expanded.

What do you mean? There is a fill port, the stock tubes are complete black so you cannot see the liquid inside, but the liquid inside of it is a yellowish green color. I think it might need refilled down the road if you mean its lifespan compared to a normal aio, but I cannot be sure.

I meant if he kept it the way it was packed i'm pretty sure its like a sealed loop system. However if he decide to change tubes etc he will probably have to refill it now and then.
