Don't trust the AI suite readings. I use to get warnings that my 12v was ov lol.

Try uninstalling both occt and ai suite and reinstalling occt to see if that fixes it. For me occt displays 12v at 8v even though I am running 12v. I say its a software conflict somewhere.

It will only shut down if thermal throttling can not bring the CPU temperature back under control.

Intel limits the output of their core temperature sensors so they can only report temperatures up to TJ Max at 105C. Any reading beyond this is a sign of a software bug. In your second picture, it looks like both Core 0 and Core 1 are being reported incorrectly.

RealTemp reads data from a separate thermal throttling sensor. If your CPU reaches the thermal throttling temperature, even for only a millisecond, this sensor will go active. If the RealTemp - Thermal Sensor area shows OK, that means your CPU has not tripped this sensor since you booted up. You don't even need to have RealTemp running at the time this happens. As soon as you start RealTemp, it will check this sensor to see if it has set off a flag. If RealTemp shows LOG, that means your CPU reached the thermal throttling temperature and this has been logged within the CPU itself. When RealTemp shows HOT, this means thermal throttling is currently active, protecting your CPU and helping to prevent it from ever reaching the thermal shutdown temperature.

It takes some very high temps to set off thermal throttling. This RealTemp feature has been fully tested. biggrin.gif

Alright. I do think I've got it. Thanks. Did check TIM and HS position, they're both good. Before I run tests will uninstall and remove reg entries.
