MSI 7950 no signal problem

Thread Starter
I was just playing Crysis 3 when my monitor went blank. My 7950 was OC'd to 1100/1600 @ 1.150v. I wasn't running in Crossfire as my other 7950 is in the other PC.

I shutdown the PC and then reboot but I still got no signal from my monitor or any strange beeps from my motherboard but Windows did seem to load up. I shut the PC down again and reboot and still no picture on my monitor, it just said the DVI cable is unplugged.

So, I left the PC off for about an hour and then restarted it and everything seems fine now. Is my 7950 faulty? The temps were well under 85c.

Is there a program to test the memory / VRAM on my 7950 for errors? I tried memtestCL but I read it doesn't work on GCN architecture very well which is why it gives so many false positives.

I have a feeling my card has a fault with the memory as I've had some random checkerboarding on the desktop after a gaming session.

Well, I've RMA'd the card anyway. The replacement works fine thumb.gif
