I guess the typhoons would win because they are cheap , quiet, and perform good But I would rather have the Corsairs just because of quality and they have a nice
warranty

The corsair fans are garbage.

The only reason people buy them is the rubberized color rings.

You are fooling yourself i you can compare their performance to the GTs.

Not only that, they don't undervolt well at all, and suffer from clicking issues.

Please do not offer a comparison when you have not owned both products.

i hope you realize scythe GT's are made by nidec and are among the BEST quality fans you can buy biggrin.gif I don't know who is the OEM for corsair fans, but you wont find ANY manufacture that would be considered "better". there may be manufactures that are just as high quality as nidec, but not really "better".

Just asking, but do the Scythe GTs work well with Corsair Link? I heard it wouldn't work well because the Scythes had 3-pin connectors.

Manufacturer's specification are usually far from accurate.. unless they are industrial quality. GT's are quality and Corsair is questionable.

I have two cougar Vortex pwm fans on a Corsair H80i cooling an I7-3970X overclocked to 4.7, low temps and near silent operation.

I recognize this is an old thread but one can't let nonsense stand. Two quite respected sites provide data that contradicts the assertion quoted.
