Predictions on Lenovo T440s

I am in the market for a laptop and am debating whether or not to wait for a T440s, or to pull the trigger on a T431s. The battery life, introduction to Haswell, and HD screen seem tempting.

Anyone have any predictions on release date and price? Any thoughts on if I should wait or not are appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Thomas

Oooooh, I got news of the T440s last week and have been drooling ever since. I've wanted a thinkpad for a while but they always seem to be behind hardware wise.

I would wait. The screen/display will be an order of magnitude better. Current thinkpads (from what I've read) have had lackluster screens that aren't very bright and have terrible veiwing angles. Also the 440s will have a true 1080p screen with IPS technology which will be great.

Haswell will of course be awesome. Much better graphics than ivy will be a huge plus. Also battery life. Does it read to you that the 440s has TWO 3 cell batteries? That's what it looks like to me. The 431s from what I can tell only has one 3-cell. If that's the case this laptop will be great.

Yes the two batteries seems like it will be a cool feature. you can pop out the bay battery and replace it without shutting down the machine. I'm hoping they are available before this school year starts! I did just purchase a T431s for my mother's business. It's pretty nice, but I really don't like to buy something when the new product is just around the corner (kinda hard to do with technology; LOL).
