Getting a new SSD

Thread Starter
Afternoon all!

I posted before asking if my MB would allow me to use a SSD. Now that I know I can I have a few questions. I am getting a SSD tonight, but I thought I would ask a couple of things before doing so. I've had a lot of stuttering while playing video games lately, started out a few months ago and seems to just be getting worse over time. I don't think it is my new CPU, I just got it last year (Intel Core i5-2300 Sandy Bridge 2.8GHz (3.1GHz Turbo Boost) LGA 1155 95W Quad-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 2000 BX80623I52300) I think for sure it is my hard drive, Its very old (maybe 5-6 years old) and only 128GB. I think this might be why my PC kinda sucks atm. My hard drive is the only item I did not update when building a new PC. I did get a new secondary drive about a year or two ago that is much bigger, but I didn't update my main drive for Windows because I didn't think I needed to. Now I kinda regret it.
Okay, gosh I need to get to the point. Do you think the problems I'm having, game stuttering, fraps getting sloppy, is from an old hard drive or is my year old CPU crap? Also, recommended size for a new SSD. I will more than likely have all my games on that drive. Thanks so much you all are awesome.

(Sorry if this isn't the area to post this question.)
(also, this is from my phone so pardon any spelling or weird writing errors)

I really trust this communities input and greatly thank anyone who can help a gal out.

stuttering while gaming would be a graphics card issue.

what is it? (the graphics card)
have you updated the drivers lately?
is it all games or just a few?
