Monitor for Gaming

I'm looking for a new monitor to use for console gaming.
I currently game on a 60" led TV but find it really annoying is way to big for gaming to me.
I am currently looking at BenQ Official Major League Gaming Monitor RL2455HM (24-Inch LED). I am currently running an LG 27" led monitor on my gaming rig. What would be better for console gaming 24" or 27" any suggestion is appreciated.

I don't know why people buy these 27+ inch monitors with only a 1080p resolution. Their pixel density abominable. If I wanted to look at blocky pixels, I'd use my CRT.

Well, go with Dell U2713HM if you are so demanding, man =)

Well I don't think my 360 or ps3 will handle 1440p resolution neither will the new consoles.
