RE: Painting a Case

(n.b. soz if in the wrong category)
I know this has been covered many times over, and the conclusion is the more effort you put into it the better the finish you get.
But I was wondering about this new spray paint I've come across called "Plasti Dip".
I'm thinking about using "Plasti Dip Blaze Red" on my black NZXT Switch 810 to do some stencil designs. Do you guys think this is a good idea?
Looking at Plasti Dip, seems like it provides very good "car quality" finishes, so it seems promising. Tricky part might be the stencils, although im probs gonna stick to simplistic ones that can just be created with a few strips of masking tap.
So ye, opinions will help ^^ thanks biggrin.gif

Might want to use some primer to make sure the paint sticks well.

You don’t need to use primer or sand anything with this plasti dip paint. It is like a rubber coating that you can pull off if you decide you don’t want it anymore.

PlastiDip, is not a paint, it is a coating. Some of the best paints/primers for daily use is Rustoleum. They have a very wide selection
ans is a fantastic paint. With a very decent cost.

Peel your tape when it is still wet if using plastidip to get a more defined edge.

Ok cool, I've ordered some Plasti Dip blaze Red, respiratory masks + some blue painters tape. I'm going to listen and do what this guy does; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2kBWaSDmj0g He pretty much said what most of you guys said^^. My finally query is whether I will be able to designs like shown below on the NZXT Switch 810:

Obviously what's above is a design ^^ + I might also end up painting the mesh parts of the pc red too if it is easily done
