You have to read books, articles, misc. code... It's essential.

No course will be enough. It's just minor stuff to get you started.

But seriously I feel so bored while doing that it is unbearable. Is there any way I can somehow make it more intersting?

If you already know the basics, pick a project (something you find fun / interesting / challenging) and start working towards the goal. You could try to find some tutorials that help you get there online.

Make a simple game or an internet messenger or some tool with fancy lexical analyser...

But seriously, if you cannot make it through a programming book, that's a big warning sign right there.

Perhaps you could try something like Java or C# since they give you results faster with less effort.

A way to stay motivated is to work on projects. And learning your concepts as part of completing a project.

Make some game,
Make a simple chat client
Write an interpreter.
Implement some algorithms

Build something that interests you. Use code as a tool to help you build that thing.

C++ is not a good choice for a beginner language. Learn another language like Python.
