I think I read somewhere that you have the opinion for shipping with DHL (best IMO) and USPS (FedEx) instead.

but it's more expensive only because it's not their default so they don't get as big of a mass purchase discount. what i said was i wish it was default so it would be cheaper. it would make me order much more from there. but i still like new egg i also wish i had chosen the expedite my order for $2 thing oh well to late

If I'm not mistaken, you need an OS for the server right?

I think that Windows has a limit on how many sustainable connections to your server can be upheld. There is a Windows OS that has many more than 10... not sure which one it is.

I'm planning to build a file/game server soon, and an OS is not one thing I would like to use money for. I'd much rather go with a free distro. of Linux that has nearly unlimited help support than limited support in Windows.

I'd suggest you go with whatever you feel comfortable with. Much easier to setup something you have experience with than learn a completely new system and try to get it up an running.

Ehhh... severs don't need great graphics do they? I thought all they needed graphics-wise was a independent card to take the ram off the integrated?
