Its 9 months old and the seller is a close friend of mine. But the issue is the card is 2GB. Should I grab it and SLI. How will the 2GB affect performance at 1440p? I have heard that AA is of no use on a 1440p resolution monitor since you won't notice it. If yes, then I would be comfortable turning it off or use FXAA as an alternative. I can grab that 670 for $316 but if I have to buy a 780 then I would have to spend another $430 from my pocket after selling my current 670.

go with GTX 670 SLI if you are ok with running FXAA. at 1440p with MSAA 4x next gen games like BF4 might exceed 2GB. but with FXAA you should be ok.

Hey guys,

I got the Qnix QX2710 monitor yesterday but whenever I am trying to play games, they crash. I tried Sleeping Dogs, Battlefield 3, Crysis 3, Tomb Raider, Ghost Recon Future Soldier. I checked event viewer and I see this message

"Display driver nvlddmkm stopped responding and has successfully recovered."

I tried installing newer drivers, uninstalled using driver sweeper and then tried even the older stable drivers, I even formatted my entire system and installed windows 8 again. But I still get the same message while trying to play games.

1. I checked memory test and that is fine. No errors
2. Updated Bios
3. Tested CPU Overclock
4. Updated Windows as well

But no luck, I still get that same message. I also saw this in event viewer:

The description for Event ID 14 from source nvlddmkm cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

\Device\Video8
CMDre 0000000f 00000ffc ffffffff 00000007 00ffffff

Would there be any problem with the Monitor or the monitor cable? or is it my graphics card? Please assist. I really require help now.

That's odd... That's exactly what happened to my 7950. It fixed itself though, so maybe check your over clocking settings? Maybe they are too high or unstable for those games. Also, make sure you have the latest drivers. I know you probably do, but that could also be a factor. Hope this gets resolved quickly!

Well, I have the Graphics card at stock now. Its till giving me issues. I am unable to run games cause they crash. the temps do not cross 65 degrees so its not the heat at all. Any other suggestions? or should I RMA?

Try to uninstall any OC software, restart the PC, make reinstall the drivers. Sometimes even after you set it to stock and close the programs the games and drivers can still be fudged.

I would check out the post about the new 326 drivers. Seems they're having problems with Korean and such types of monitors right now. Might want to post at nvidia also.
