Hi all, hope all is well in your life.

I've run into some problem regarding this new rig I'm building. My components are as follows:

Case: Bitfenix Shinobi
Motherboard: z77x UD5H
CPU: i5 3570k (delidded, bought off a friendly and supportive eBayer) (stock clock and voltage)
CPU Cooler: Silverstone Argon AR01
GPU: Gigabyte HD 7950 (stock clocks)
PSU: 500W Silencer MK III
A standard HDD
No other drives
Some case fans

The build all went well. Everything shows up on Windows as intended. But, it's when I want to play a game, or watch something on YouTube in HD, or do some graphical benchmarking is when the PC immediately freezes, forcing me to hold down the power button to reset. I thought first it was this PSU because the GPU I've had for a while and has worked on my last rig with different mobo and PSU (same wattage) so GPU is still surely fine. So I switched out the PSU with my old one (which I know worked with this GPU before) but the problem is still there... So, that can only mean the mobo is to blame, right?
I've no clue what the problem could be.

Any ideas?

Cheers in advance.
