hi guys, i just got a new motherboard delivered and one of the corners of the box is damaged a fair bit

the plastic cover is a little broken on that corner as well

it looks like it has been dropped somewhere along the line, should i send it be to be replaced?

I would. Affects your resale value if you have a jacked up box. Whos the retailer?

PC Case Gear, they're usually pretty good about stuff like this

ok, so this motherboard is now out of stock with no ETA

should i be concerned about the fact that it has been dropped?

it was jammed inside another box containing a h80i and a few other things, with no bubble rap etc

the corner of the box it was packaged in has signs of being dropped as well

check the board very closely if it's damaged, if it's not, i would not bother.

Its probably fine but deep down it would always annoy me, and I would probably return it.

Your new item should be perfect, and if not the price should reflect that.

Some retailers do advanced replacements, worth checking.
