Way to stop CCC from reverting power settings?

Thread Starter
So, I'm using Afterburner to OC. Mainly because of its profile system. (no point in running a OC just browsing the internet/windows right?)

The problem is, CCC keeps reverting my power setting back to 0% when I switch profiles in Afterburner. Any help?

I use TRIXX to overclock so there is no need for a constant voltage and setting separate 3D/2D profiles like with Afterburner.
You still have all your low power states and can edit just the 3D/gaming voltage and clocks to your liking.
And i just use Afterburner/rivatuner for the Onscreen Display.

Then you no longer have any issues with CCC messing with your +20% powertune settings since you're no longer switching profiles all the time.

disable OD in CCC. AB will manage it.

If I disable it, my OC becomes un-stable and the card clocks down to 500Mhz. frown.gif

then you need to increase your power in AB, and adjust the 2d/3d clocks

CCC, AB, Trixx, GPUTweak, and Radeon Pro all use the exact same interfaces for clocks and power control(OverDrive5)

You can only have one active at a time, or they will fight each other.

Ya, Like an idiot I forgot to disable Trixx from starting with windows.

Also, in a weird twist, I dowloaded the 3.0.0 Beta 10 version of Afterburner, and low and behold there is the Power Limit % slider!? I thought it was only on MSI cards?!

always been a slider in AB for me. I recently switched to Trixx though and find it much more stable. ./shrug

I find trixx more stable as well, but it has a tendency to forget to restore OC voltage on reboots...
