Sure it is! My thing is, recently, due to my fionce requests, I changed my 3 monitors into a 42" 1080p LG TV.
So, sure the image won't get as close to the quality as the monitors, but as I have SLI 780s, I can toss everything on it, and due to pixel size on the TV I kinda need all teh AA I can get!

Actually, with good 7.1 headphones and playing close to the TV (around 1m), with all antialiasing on on max, I'm enjoying games much more than I was on 3 monitors!
It can get SO immersive!!

I only run 1 7970. I only need 1. I'm saying even on 1440p, I can still max everything like BF3, etc. Just had to turn down, or off AA. At 1440p, AA isn't needed very much.

Apart from Skyrim and Metro, i cant think of anything that I've tested/played that even comes CLOSE to pushing these things under load.
Realistically, one 780 is going to be a beast for most games, even at 1440p. So I'd say don't stress it too much smile.gif

You wouldn't happen to have a list of which Skyrim mods you are using would you? I've added the 2k textures, grass, plants, water, and some armor, but nothing has affected my performance yet. I was running a GTX 670 but now I am on GTX 760 SLi.

Is it worth to buy second GTX 780 for 1080p?
I am satisfied with my current results but I want to be prepared for future titles (BF4 especially).

I have i7-4770k oc'ed @4.4GHz.

At 1440p though? I felt pretty limited by my SLI 670's (2GB versions) at 1440p in quite a few titles personally.

I think that would be complete overkill, even for OCN standards smile.gif
I'd stick with one card at 1080p

At 1600p actually, haha. And yeah, haven't felt held back at all. I rarely crank up AA though.

I would run 2 if I could afford it because I like running lots of AA on everything, even at 1440p. I currently run dual GTX 670's and am able to get decent framerates with 16x AF, 8x CSAA, and 2x transparency supersampling, plus all the other little effects like AO. With 780's you could probably bump it to 16x CSAA and 4x trans SSAA.

I think that for BF4 it would be overkill even if you push AA to max, but for Witcher 3, GTA5 and other upcoming tittles, also some current tittles as Witcher 2, Metro Last Light and Sleeping Dogs, while pushing AA to max two GTX 780 in SLI will be adequate even in a single 1080P screen.
