Gigabyte HD 7950...

Thread Starter
So I just received a Gigabyte Radeon HD 7950 and I've noticed a sag (when installed) starting from the extension port down to the power connectors (not a bend per-se just a slight downward angle). I'm just wondering if this is normal, and if it is has anyone figured out a way to fix this? It's a bit of an eye sore in my case.

Yep perfectly normal for large cards w/ big coolers to sag a bit.
Slight PCB bowing won't have any affect on the card, so don't worry about it smile.gif

Thanks for the quick input! This is my first time stepping out of the $200 GPU range so I was unsure if this was to be expected or if it was a flaw of some sort. smile.gif

U can get a custom backplate to straighten the card out. Message Dwood and he will walk u through the process. It will also look very slick, if you get color/design that matches your build!

Mine does this exact thing. Gigabyte put a piece of metal alongside the edge of the PCB but it still flexes a bit. Id hate to see what it looked like without the brace.
