Help using Corsair Vengance 2133 on Z77 w/i5 2500k - Page 2

Ahh I see. Well it's definitely worth going back to look at.

HOWEVER.

The new z77 has overclocked me to a satisfactory 4.2 and is quite snappy. Faster boot time than the asus for sure so there's more than lockups to consider. I just wonder what I can do with this board as it is to help run the 2133mhz memory?

Yeah, I admit that I'd like to see you keep the Z77 board because I've seen people getting bigger overclocks with Sandy Bridge than they could with a good P67 board! Although, I'm wondering if 2133 MHz is out of the question due to some limitation of the IMC.

I guess I was just thinking that perhaps you could go back to the P8P67 and the Patriot memory to get your money back. lol I'm cheap like that. :)
