with Evga, no registration is required unless purchasing extended warranty for cross ship, etc. otherwise just register with recepit when need to rma. As malmental said, you should be ok, unless some reseller has a quirk about servicing regionally, based on the point of origin.

I've always avoided to buy from US coz of this thing being unclear. But now I'm thinking those keeping those extra $150 and $200 are worth the hassle.. If I buy from here (India), all I have to do is give it to the service center and they give a new one same day or sometimes next day or within 1 week.

Suppose the MSI gtx 760, it costs $250 in US. Here it costs $370.
So if I were to buy from someone in US and ask him to ship it to me, I save $120. But if the card dies say in the next 6 months or year, then to RMA or claim the warranty I do not know if I will need to send it back to US or the service center of MSI here in my city will accept it.
If I buy the MSI gtx 760 from here itself and not the US and it dies. All I need to do is go to the MSI service center, 15 minutes walk away and they give me a new one the next day biggrin.gif
But the extra $120 doesn't feel worth this. :/

call or email and ask them, say your going to the US in a few weeks and going to buy a GPU while there, then coming home (India).
whatever they say is your answer and then make your choice on what to do from there...
