Cannot get my 1090T stable..... all of a sudden!

So basically, need to test this out and find the root problem.

I have had this CPU stable in the past... of sorts; turned out after a few months of instability had a bad stick of Vengeance 1600.

So I cannot get it to run stable in prime, OCCT, IBT or any other such stress test right now (not any of the real ones anyhow)!

Suggestions?

Possibly useful contextual info: I did have a 7950 'blow up' on me 2-3 weeks ago. PC was on when this happened.... collateral damage?

Regards and thanks in advance,

Syn

What exactly do you mean by blow up?

Ok, well, I replaced the TIM on my card as it was HOT; high 80s to 90 after half hour in BF3.

Didn't help one bit, then during BF3 my pc shut down, I powered her on, and the back of a capacitor blew off (it went pop) and my PC didn't boot!

That kind of pop :S lol

Though my new 7950 is awesome in comparison, old was Rev. 03 this is 05 and its cooler, smaller, and faster : )
At least XFX are still developing their cards and making them better!

Are you running this at stock? Is it stable at stock? How do your temps look?

The following image is stock after IntelBurnTest,

Room ambient temp. 26/27°C

It's passing today... which it wouldn't before. But I have taken the ram timings and set them, as the board would at stock, (seems my board likes to randomly change the ram timings when I alter CPU or CPU-NB speed! )
