If you want SLI from the get go two blower type cards might be a better option
Yea I know the bottom card will just vomit hot air into the top one but I'm ok with that since I have a Switch 810 with 10+ fans.
The HDD cage has 2 140mm fans blowing air up past the cards at a ~ 45 degree angle, each card technically has it's own cold air feed.
I will put the better OC of the two in the bottom slot and use that to drive my main 1440p 120hz gaming display (Overlord Tempest x270OC), while the other will power my second 1440p just for side stuff.
