And it is no more dangerous than any other watercooling setup, if the fittings are, again, outside of the PSU case.
Back when most TV repairs were done by American techs, shops generally had a 2 hour limit on labor, and that was for both diagnosis and board level part replacement, not something as simple as a capacitor swap.

Unfortunately the There I Fixed It.com style fixes aren't too far removed from some DIY work I've seen, including where zip cord was run inside walls and fastened with regular staples laid down really firmly against the insulation. People like that can't be trusted around water and high voltage. Show me how a retail water cooled PSU can pass UL or CSA testing.

Like cables that are single strand instead of multi-strand so you would do 90° bends and have the cables actually hold the form or cables where the insulator is clear showing off the copper wire inside. That would be pretty cool.

Oh and someone should make different angled PCI-E adapters so it would be easier to route the cables.

Something in the style of this-->

That idea would look good with a single (possibly 2 card) setup, but what would you do in a case of a triple or quad sli ? Wouldn't work. You're limited by the space between individual cards,
which in a lot of cases is only a couple mm.. Im all in favour of 90° connectors tho thumb.gif

I was mostly thinking they would be adapters. Something you could choice to use or not. Perhaps even have some with different angles

Communication between the PSU and PC would be very nice, specifically being able to see PSU temps and fan speeds, maybe some humidity sensors/alarms as well for users who live in more humid climates.

very true. I wonder if it would still look good if there were just some extension plugs bundled with the PSU. These could be used if the person wants to change the angle of the PCI-E connectors or not used when someone is running lots of graphics cards and there is no space to do that.

I like it, but in my case it would only server to cover up the evga titan logo on my backplate. Boo.

I wouldn't mind one that does a 90 degree in the horizontal plane though, but it would make for an awfully tall connector and might actually look worse.

I like popping colors like a Bright Blue to go with my blue rig would be nice, individually sleeved cables kinda like corsair but different like mix and match colors with tones so like on a pcie 8pin 5blue 3black or white something like that. Being able to change a dead fan without voiding warranty would be nice. other then that more affordable 80+gold and that's about it
