About to Buy a New Mice and Mousepad, Need More Opinions

I guess its time to replace my 5-year old Logitech G5.

I researched abit about mices that will fit my (tight) budget and I need more opinions on what to buy. Here is abit of my background if it is needed:

- I am a fingertip/claw grip user
- I rarely play FPS games, usually MMOs or Adventure games
- It doesnt really matter if I use big or small mice, since I use a small generic mice in my office and it doesn't tire me at all, and I use a big logitech G5 at home.
- I use low sensitivity. In some games, mainly FPS, i use 400DPI and even move the mice sensitivity in windows two ticks from the center. No idea what polling rate I am using.
- I also prefer side buttons, one or two buttons should be good enough.

Heres a list of what I have come up in no particular order:

Corsair Vengeance M60
Roccat Kova [+]
Roccat Pyra
CM Storm Xornet (supposed to be Spawn, but they say its not good for high sensitivity. Also, whats with the color?)
Elephant Night Hawk (this looks very similar to Pyra, at 1/3 the cost)
Elephant Dragunov (locally popular gaming mice on whatever grip people use and its durability, around 10USD)

I could just buy the Night Hawk/Dragunov and buy a "better" mice when it dies, but I still want more opinions about it.

Also, can anyone recommend me a big mousepad that doesnt have any designs? I used a Zalman MP1000 before and I want a similar-sized mousepad without any designs just like that. Can't locally find the same mousepad anymore.

Thanks in advance!

J

I have two mice right now, the G400 and the Xornet with firmware version v52.

The G400 has a perfect sensor, but it's too heavy for me. The Xornet's sensor isn't as good as the G400's. The Xornet has worse negative accel than a WMO when you swipe it fast, but it's very light, has a great shape, and has great mouse feet. I can hit 40 LG with both mice and maybe 2-3% better with the G400, but its weight really affects my ease of movement, so I've been switching back and forth between both mice.

Roccat Savu or CM Spawn. Even the G100s could work for you.

The cheapest optical (non-laser) X7 mouse from A4tech you can find
Any big soft mousemat

Costs only 1/3rd-1/5 of other suggestion and performs almost as well. Spend rest of money into ice cream and strawberries
