Performance difference between EK 7970 original block and newer CSQ version?

Simple question - besides looking better, is there any difference in cooling performance between the original EK 7970 block and the new CSQ version?

They changed the bridges so CSQ isn't compatible with non-CSQ...got screwed on that mistake. Otherwise don't know...you can always email EK.

Nope, no performance difference. Mostly same block, just the acrylic thats changed

ah crap... I'm about to buy a used 7970 that comes with the older version water block. I currently have one 7970 that is still on air cooling, and I was gonna get a 2nd water block for that one once this other one arrives. I wanted to do a nice acrylic bridge but they don't sell the old version of the block or the old bridges any more. Oh well... guess it's just tubing between the two blocks.
