gigabyte z87x-ud4h problems

so i have only had my ud4h for a little while but i have had 2 issues with it one being when i use the bios i cannot use it in full hd mode and i cannot figure out why i have a 1080p monitor? secondly when i go to charge my phone and it is only when i would charge my phone it would give me some error: Power Surge On Hub Port: A USB device has exceeded the power limits of its hub port its really weird and then that port doesn't always act correctly

Hi,

Are you using the latest beta BIOS? (They are only found here for some reason: http://forums.tweaktown.com/gigabyte/28441-gigabyte-latest-beta-bios-13.html#post275114 )

I believe there was some sort of display issue on the stock BIOS, and perhaps the first few betas.

Regarding your USB issue I have not experienced this.
