Good catch!

I intended to pick the blue anyways. Posting @ work redface.gif

Perhaps then since you think he will only need a 450W PSU should I go with one of those cases with the PSU included like a CM Elite 350?

I wouldnt do that. Generally those are junk.

"only needs a 450w psu" pertains to HIGH quality units, such as the capstone for example

Exactly, on a low low quality unit you would need an 800W+ for this system to not catch fire.

The only problem with the gigabyte 78lmt usb3 is that it does not have sata 6. HDD's do not benefit from 6 but if you ever want to add an ssd then speed will be restricted. It is a decent board for the price though.

Someone mentioned the biostar ta970. This is actually a good value board and the vrm's used are of good quality even though the phase is 4+1.

The corsair cx 500 watt is not the best but i think it will do for this system.

The price is over $700 but this build includes a decent cooler. I have an fx 6300 and the performance increase from overclocking is very noticable.
