Computer wont power up - is it PSU?

Thread Starter
Hi guys, my computer sadly won't boot right after i plugged in a sata cable to the dvd drive while the computer was turned on. When i press the power button, the PSU fan and fan 1 turns and and moves for like half a second and then stops the only thing that doesn't move for that half second is my CPU fan cooler Mugen 3 SCMG. The motherboard blinks red memok! fast, don't know if that's something to do with it.
I've tried unplugging everything, replacing cmos, other cables and so on but the computer still wont tun on. Before the computer turned off i think i remember saw it saying going to sleep mode, and then everything powered all of.

Motherboard is: ASUS p8p67
8GB ddr3 kingston 1600 ram
intel core i7 2600k with Mugen 3 SCMG-3000 cooler
1tb harddisk
old Chenbro computer case
