32 GB of dual channel dimm in quad channel motherboard?

Hey everyone, still new to this site, have a question? tomorrow my ASUS Sabertooth X79 LGA 2011 Intel X79 motherboard arrives & was wondering if it's advisable to use dual channel ram instead of quad channel,my CPU is the 3930K I7 series
(my reason for asking is i currently have no quad available only 32 GB of Corsair 2 channel /4 sticks at 8GB a piece)
the ram is DDR3 1600 the Timing: 10-10-10-27
is this acceptable for 1st time booting of system or should i just wait till next month when i can afford quad channel ram?

If you use 4 sticks it will still use the memory in quad channel (as long as you put all 4 in the same colored slots) - quad channel memory just means that it has been binned together for o/c and timings purposes, just as dual channel memory has been binned in sets of two. Really no reason to go out and buy a new set of memory unless the set you have isn't working.
