get rid of bubbles

Thread Starter
My t-line is fairly sideways, so I'm having trouble getting the bubbles out of the loop, I tried tilting it and got some air out but it just seems mostly to bypass the t-line and keep on going around anyway.

The cloudy like appearance in the tubes is due to the hundreds of air pockets moving around, it returns to a clear blue colour when the pump is turned off.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

pics (yep, the black round thingy hanging out the side is the tline)

Add more water. There should be fluid in your T-Line at least half way to the cap. It also looks like there is some slack left on the T-connection. Try to hold it horizontal as well. If you can't, tip the whole case so the T-lin is horizontal. However, adding more fluid is the first thing to do.

Run your pump without running the PC (safer for heat and all) and just let it run a good long while (all day) this will often break out a lot of the air.

Air also gets trapped in the WB--which can lead to overheating.

Air gets trapped in the radiator--hence the asdvice most often given to tilt and tip and roll and rock the rig until the air bubbles are out.

There is nothins effected by gravity in a PC so you should set your PC on it's face or butt or head or whaterevr to get the air to collect at the T. Just put a towel down to prevent damage.

TO get your PSU to fire up without it being plkugged into the mobo tickle the black and green wire for a sec with a paperclip--this will fire up the pSU (and pump or any other peripheral)

Good luck!

Thanks for the advice, The only problem is sitting the pc up so the T-line is facing straight, because the radiator is on that side too. I might be able to get a box that fits the edges but not sure.

The secondary PSU shouldn't be any trouble though...

Theres always a slight cloudyness in my lines when its running. It returns back to clear too when shut off. My temps don't seem to be effected much and its been like that since day 1. All you can do is get rid of the big air pockets by tilting the case around and work the bubbles out to the T line. I had a similar problem, it just takes some effort to work them out.

The way I got rid of air bubbles was to fill up my loop all the way, leave the cap on my res open, and tilt/raise (hold them up) the individual components.
