I have this HD Converter

http://www.amazon.com/Mygica-Game-Video-Converter-Switcher/dp/B001463UNI/ref=sr_1_13?ie=UTF8&qid=1374113993&sr=8-13&keywords=dynacom

and I want to plug my NINTENDO WII AND PS2 both at the same time, but I dunno how to do it.

Would I need extra cables to make this adaptation? I'm not a cable expert if u guys can show me the ones I'll need will help a lot.

+rep for the helpers.

I would look into buying a splitter

They can be found for less than 10 dollars on amazon and should do what you want

http://www.amazon.com/3-Way-Switch-Selector-Splitter-XBOX360/dp/B004T8KZCM/ref=sr_1_3?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1374156910&sr=1-3&keywords=composite+splitter

I searched the amazon comments to see what others were saying couldn't find anything on other buying a splitter with the device but I did find this

"Overall this product is easy to use. I have connected my dvd player, xbox 360, and ps2 to an av switch which is connected to the gamebox converter. Each device displays nicely on my 17" lcd monitor. Like me if you have multiple systems to connect I recommend an av switch that way you don't have to unplug and replug for each device. I wouldn't recommend connecting the sound through the device as it is very weak. Also it doesn't come with a remote as specified in the description. After tweaking the brightness and contrast settings I get a very clear picture.

I recommend using only the component cables for the best picture. For the price this product is great. Its perfect for those unused CRT or LCD monitors.z'

So that's basically what you would be doing

Good Luck

What you listed is a switch. What the OP needs is a 2 INPUT/ 1 OUTPUT Switch.

What model is your TV?

What is your goal, to have have the Wii and PS2 Connected to switch, then connect the output to your TV?

You must know that the TV can only handle one signal at a time, but the switch can select which signal to use.

The Device I recommended has 3 inputs and one output. The Device he seems to be designed to be connected to a laptop or computer.

Yes the specific one I mention says 3 outputs, 1 input but this is clearly a mistake. As the image of the item itself says 3 inputs, and the image also shows 1 output.

There are other items like this on amazon and they all say 3 inputs, 1 output.

The switch should take the Wii and PS2 as inputs, and than output than to the converter box

Not a TV an LG 2340 LED monitor and run my 2 consoles to 1080p.

I know u can't run 2 images at the same time thats not what I want, I want to switch which one to display but one at the time.

But that switch wont convert the signal to HD it will just extende the number of "consoles" u can plug but it won't tune the signal to HD.

The Wii will work on an HDTV, but will not be displayed at full 1080p. The best the Wii can do is 480p.

PS2 can get at best 1080i with a component cable.

Maybe there's a way to use the S-video input.

I thought the switch was a good idea, if its not. Try to see what options there are for using any other inputs on your device.

The hdbox is the critical step in your setup so somehow both systems need to be connected

You could always get a second converter to.
