So I have been planing to upgrade my current computer and I'm not too confident in my choice of possessors. intel seems to destroy amd for the most part the issue is the number of cores. I currently have a 1090t x6 and would like to get a Intel Xeon E3-1275V3 but I don't know if the speed makes up for the lack of cores I max out four, but often I find myself at full load on all of them! I don't use many programs that utilize six cores and when I do it's the only thing running. so would the speediness of the 1275V3 make up for the lack of cores?
