Force BOINC to use my HD79X0's

I changed my motherboard from a P67 to a Z77 so i can use the iGPU on my 2600k to do light stuff without lag and leave my 7950 and 7970 as dedicated BOINCers, unless i want to play. But ever since i loaded up BOINC, it states that the cards do not support OpenCL so they cannot be used, but they're appropriately recognized by the manager.

So far, i've updated the video drivers to the latest versions (both the WHQL and beta from AMD and the WHQL from Intel), but it doesn't seem to work. I've also activated the use_all_gpus flag on the cc_config.xml file to no avail. I do not have the Lucid Virtu software (did not have much time to install it), Crossfire mode is disabled and i'm running BOINC 7.0.28.

Is there anything i could do to get the GPU's recognized so they crunch while i use the Intel IGP to do stuff without lag?

Do you have OpenCL for IGPU installed ? If yes then you you need to remove it and AMD's OpenCL starts working. Latest drivers for HD4000 don't have this bug anymore but HD3000 drivers do.

Well, even after hitting my head more than once, i decided to update BOINC to 7.0.64. That did the trick (should've done that before doh.gif). I didn't had to remove the Intel OpenGL driver. It. Just. Freakin'. Worked.

It seems version 7.0.36 fixed the OpenGL detection issues i've been having.

Now i really have no excuse to disable one of my GPU's if i want to see a movie or browse Youtube biggrin.gif Hopefully it'll help me increase my PPD as well. biggrin.gif
