Defective motherboard?

My Asus Sabertooth 990FX GEN3/R2 (flashed to the latest bios) which I installed last Friday has been acting weird in windows. This started yesterday, for some reason after not using my PC for a while (like a couple hours) it will take a really long time to boot into Windows 8. Then the keyboard and mouse won't work so I have to reset my PC. My friend told me I should try updating my chipset drivers and it seemed to work. But when I turned off my PC last night and turned it back on this morning it took a long time to boot. Then I checked Windoes Event Logger like yesterday and I still got the same errors and long boot time to get to the Windows login screen.

These are the errors I got when I first booted up today.

I got this thing called event ID 41 (source Kernel Processor Power) which says

The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.

Event ID 29 (source Kernel Boot)

Windows failed fast startup with error status 0xC00000D4.

Event ID 35 (source Kernel Processor Power)

Performance power management features on processor 5 in group 0 are disabled due to a firmware problem. Check with the computer manufacturer for updated firmware.

For event ID 35, I tried updating my chipset drivers and even the firmware on my Corsair H80i. Bios is flashed to the latest version. I still get this error, except I get six of these event ID 35s so it means its affecting all six cores on my CPU.

Event ID 4321 (source NetBT)

The name "RYANPC :0" could not be registered on the interface with IP address [IP adress]. The computer with the IP address [IP address] did not allow the name to be claimed by this computer.

Anyone know what's going on? I posted this here instead of the Windows forum because I think its an issue with my motherboard.

Anyone please? I'm having the mouse and keyboard issue again. Updating the chipset drivers didn't work and resetting the bios to default didn't work. I'm thinking I'll have to RMA the motherboard back to Newegg.
